Akwa Medical Transport LLC is built around prearranged ambulatory and wheelchair transportation for healthcare needs. Service availability remains subject to required operating authority, equipment, insurance, scheduling, and payer requirements.
Ambulatory NEMT
For passengers able to enter and exit the vehicle without remaining seated in a wheelchair. Canes and walkers may be accommodated when they can be safely secured.
Doctor & Specialist Visits
Routine medical appointments, specialty visits, follow-up care, dental appointments and outpatient services.
Dialysis
Planned recurring transportation for scheduled dialysis treatments and related visits.
Hospital & Facility Discharge
Prearranged pickup after discharge when the passenger does not require emergency or ambulance-level care in transit.
Therapy & Rehabilitation
Trips to physical therapy, occupational rehabilitation, diagnostic facilities and other healthcare destinations.
Pharmacy & Healthcare Stops
Authorized transportation related to healthcare needs, subject to scheduling, payer rules and applicable service terms.
Facility / Family Coordination
Ride requests may be coordinated by authorized facilities, caregivers or family representatives.
Private-Pay Transportation
Direct private-pay booking may be available for eligible non-emergency transportation once operations are active.
Service limitation: Akwa Medical Transport LLC does not provide emergency ambulance transportation, stretcher/gurney service, or transportation requiring medical monitoring or intervention beyond the permitted NEMT scope.
